We have been so busy lately gearing up for wedding season. Here are a few shots from recent engagement sessions with old friends and new friends alike. Lots of canoodling going on in these pictures… by the way… canoodling makes for some really great pictures!

Big Announcements

Ohh Blog, how I have neglected you… I promise I am going to do better. I haven’t posted anything in a while, but it is not for the lack of great things in the works @ Sweet Water Images. Mary Helen and I have working like busy little bees.

We finally have the website completed with our new logo and I think it looks fantastic. We also have been dabbling in some new territory, and I must say that we have a new favorite type of session. If you are a bride, please ask us about this!! You are going to LOVE it.

Also we are having a Sweet Water Images 2011 High School Senior Model Contest. We announced this on facebook and so far the response has been awesome. We will be selecting some winners in about two weeks. So, if you are a junior/senior and would like to be the senior “face” of Sweet Water Images, please email us a picture and some info about you.

Last but not least, Mary Helen and I had a rockin’ time a few weeks ago taking some images for a friend’s 1st anniversary gift (you know it is paper). So, an album was a no-brainer. We captured some AH-mazing shots at that shoot and have decided to use one in the Professional Photographer Magazine Cover Photo Contest. So far, we are scoring 3.7 out of 4 stars!! Jamey & Ashley’s Wedding

This wedding was so amazing. The couple planned a destination wedding in Costa Rica, but when they shared their plans with the family, some people were sad they were going to miss it. Instead of following their plans and breaking hearts, Jamey and Ashley decided to plan a wedding their friends and family would never forget. They continued with their plans of having an engagement/pre-wedding party, and pulled off a huge shock with a surprise wedding. What a beautiful wedding. It was full of excitement, surprise and was so special for everyone involved. We are so glad for the opportunity to share this experience (and secret) with Jamey & Ashley. What a great party!

Hello friends, I have been hard at work revamping our blog. You will notice we have been doing a little housework. Special thanks to BlueHost and ProPhoto Blogs for getting this baby going. I deleted the old blog before I converted the old posts over, oops…so, here is a little condensed version of what we have done since we joined forces as Sweet Water Images. ~Ann-Marie

This is the All About Weddings shoot for Premier Bride Memphis Magazine. They are definitely one of our favorite vendors located in Germantown, TN. If you are in the market for “the” wedding dress, some beautiful accessories, a fantastic makeup artist or just want to hang out with some super cool ladies, then please check them out. The photos were taken at Elfo’s Restaurant in Germantown, TN. They were awesome for sharing their space with us!
