This is my newest buddy, Max. He is the cutest most lovable boy to date. With a smile that will melt hearts all over the world. Max likes to sing, make animal noises, have his dad flip him in the air and most of all he loves the Memphis Tigers. So (only for him) Go Tigers!
A couple of things about Max:

#1 Don’t call him Maxy….he hates that.

#2 He has the best family around. His mom, Allison and his dad, DJ are the coolest parents. He has a huge support system behind him which makes him one of the luckiest boys in the world!

#3 Max was born without vision.

When I initially talked talked to Allison about Max, my first reaction was to be very sad for him and a little angry that this was the path given to such a sweet boy. Then I met Max. I saw his spirit, his sweet soul, and that amazing smile. It was then that I realized that Max has a gift. He will never take one thing in this life for granted. He will never judge a book by it’s cover. And he will learn to dance by actually listening to the music. It makes my heart so happy to know that he is going to have one of the most interesting lives. And even though he will have some hard days, he as the greatest support system in the world to pick him up and dust him off.
I am so happy that I was able to meet Max. We are going to be buddies for a long time now.
Allison and DJ, thank you so much for allowing me photograph your guy! I look forward to getting together with you all the next time you are in Memphis.
