We had such a fun time photographing these two. And how couldn’t you with such a good lookin’ couple. There were so many great moments through out the day. From the two seeing each other before the ceremony to the Parker’s Snow Cone truck. You could not have asked for a better day. We were blessed to be there with you, Deborah and Jeff! Thank you so much for allowing us to share your day.

I am so excited to share this post with you! It’s not everyday that you receive a phone call from your client on their honeymoon telling you thanks for being a part of their wedding. That phone call validates why Mary Helen and I love photographing weddings so much. Ginger and Patrick not only have a fairy-tale romance but they are amazing people, coupled with a great network of family members and friends. You could feel the emotion with every click of the shutter. The emotion was so strong that Mary Helen and I even teared up a time or two…Ginger & Patrick, we hope you have a great time on your honeymoon! Aloha! ~Ann-Marie

I just love reading great bridal blogs. I actually had some down-time tonight and started looking around at all the great resources brides in the South have to choose from. One of my favorites, The Southern Weddings Daily Blog is an amazing treasure-trove of great vendor suggestions and drop-dead beautiful ideas for brides. This particular blog post was some amazing bouquets. Pretty colors make every girl smile, and the bouquet adds just the right twist to compliment any bride’s style. Fantasy Floral Designs – Vintage Brooch Bouquets {Vendors}

One of our previously featured vendors, Calligraphy By Jennifer featured this little golden nugget on her blog the other day, and I just HAD to share.

This vendor, Fantasy Floral Designs owned by Amanda Heer has taken the bridal bouquet to the next level. Her Vintage Brooch Bouquets are absolutely AH-mazing. Fantasy Floral Designs has been featured by all the top wedding magazines such as The Knot, Best of Weddings 2008 and 2009, Ceremony magazine, Romantic Homes magazine, just to name a few.

Mary Helen and I are dying for the opportunity to photograph one of these. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be able to keep your bouquet forever! Talk about sentimental. The perfect heirloom to be passed down to your daughter, and granddaughter? Wow. These are so cool. Just one thing to remember… you may want to get a “toss” bouquet for your bridesmaids to catch. The Cheap Photographer Route

I always enjoy sitting down at my desk in the morning. I crack open the laptop and plug it in (because that battery will only last about 10 minutes). I fix myself a hot cup of vanilla creamer, sugar and a dash of coffee and start souring the wide, wide world of the internet. It’s so amazing to me how many people in the world are simultaneously searching for or saying the same thing you are. Anyway, I love it. I love finding information that is actually useful to myself, our business and our clients. This morning I ran across a blog post by Lauren @ Every Last Detail Blog. She steps out there and admits that she hired a cheap photographer for her own wedding. Sadly, this is something she regrets (I must confess, I can empathize with her as well). She talks about why photographers charge what they do, and why it is so important to choose a qualified photographer. Really, what is left after the cake and champagne is gone? This is a fantastic little blog about the finer details of planning a wedding. If you are a bride, or just like to look at pretty things, check it out. You won’t be disappointed. ~Ann-Marie

Jamey & Ashley’s Wedding

This wedding was so amazing. The couple planned a destination wedding in Costa Rica, but when they shared their plans with the family, some people were sad they were going to miss it. Instead of following their plans and breaking hearts, Jamey and Ashley decided to plan a wedding their friends and family would never forget. They continued with their plans of having an engagement/pre-wedding party, and pulled off a huge shock with a surprise wedding. What a beautiful wedding. It was full of excitement, surprise and was so special for everyone involved. We are so glad for the opportunity to share this experience (and secret) with Jamey & Ashley. What a great party!
